What this app is, and what it is not

Puzzle Nook gives you three puzzle games a day and keeps a record of how those games went. It is entertainment and personal practice.

It is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, a therapy or an assessment. It does not measure intelligence, brain age, memory capacity or any other cognitive ability, and nothing in the app or on this site should be read as a health claim or as advice. Scores describe how one game went under one set of rules, and are only ever compared with your own earlier attempts under those same rules. If you are worried about your memory, attention or thinking, speak to a qualified health professional.

Subscription, renewal and cancellation

Full access requires an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. The price, the billing period and any introductory offer are shown by the App Store before you confirm, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.

The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

You can view, change or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings → Manage Subscription in the app, or directly in the App Store under your Apple Account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Restore Purchases, available in the app, asks Apple and RevenueCat to check the Apple Account signed in on this device for an existing subscription. That is the only way to move a subscription to a new device.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us. If Apple refunds a purchase, the store withdraws access and the app follows that.

Your data on your device

Your results live on your device. If you delete the app, reset the device or delete your data inside the app, that record is gone and we cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. Use the export in Settings → Data if you want to keep one.

Acceptable use

The app, its games, artwork and text are ours and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute the app, and do not try to interfere with how the subscription check works or reverse engineer the app.

Availability and changes

Games, levels and plan rules may change between versions as the app is improved. Where a change affects how scores are calculated, the app marks the scoring version so old and new scores are never compared with each other.

We may update these terms. A material change will appear in a release of the app with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after that means accepting the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Termination

We may suspend or end access to the app for use that breaches these terms. You can stop using the app, and cancel any subscription in the App Store, at any time.
